Welcome to the Orangeburg Festival of Roses! 

The Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Orangeburg are making plans for the 38th Annual Orangeburg Festival of Roses to be held May 1-3, 2009.  This annual event celebrates the blooming of our beautiful roses and the beginning of a yearlong opportunity to enjoy the natural setting of the Edisto Memorial Gardens along the banks of the Edisto River, the longest black water river in the world. 

The 2009 Orangeburg Festival of Roses Committee would like to extend a cordial welcome to this special weekend celebration.  We hope that you will enjoy the beautiful Edisto Memorial Gardens, which is the center of activities for the festival, and that you will attend and participate in many of the weekend events.  An award winning festival established and nurtured through the years comes at a time when we view the beauty of our proud and hallowed gardens.  The success lies with the continuing effort and cooperation between the City of Orangeburg and the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce.  This year’s event will be no exception.  Something is planned for all ages.

We appreciate our local citizens who participate in the activities and we warmly welcome those from out of town and out of state who are visiting us.  We hope you enjoy this year’s festival!
