Welcome to the Orangeburg Festival of Roses! 

The Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Orangeburg are making plans for the 42nd Annual Orangeburg Festival of Roses to be held May 3, 4, and 5 2013.

.  This annual event celebrates the blooming of our beautiful roses and the beginning of a yearlong opportunity to enjoy the natural setting of the Edisto Memorial Gardens along the banks of the Edisto River, the longest black water river in the world. 

The 2013 Orangeburg Festival of Roses Committee would like to extend a cordial welcome to this special weekend celebration.  We hope that you will enjoy the beautiful Edisto Memorial Gardens, which is the center of activities for the festival, and that you will attend and participate in many of the weekend events.  An award winning festival established and nurtured through the years comes at a time when we view the beauty of our proud and hallowed gardens.  The success lies with the continuing effort and cooperation between the City of Orangeburg and the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce.  This year’s event will be no exception.  Something is planned for all ages.

We appreciate our local citizens who participate in the activities and we warmly welcome those from out of town and out of state who are visiting us.  We hope you enjoy this year’s festival!
 

ORANGEBURG FESTIVAL OF ROSES 2013 SHOWCASE ORANGEBURG

Presented by the Orangeburg County Fine Arts Center and the City of Orangeburg

Please plan to join us on Thursday, May 2, 2013 for an evening of entertainment at Showcase
Orangeburg. Showcase Orangeburg has been the premier event for the Orangeburg Festival of
Roses since 1993, and is a wonderful way to begin our city’s annual festival. Showcase is
patterned after the old‐time variety shows featuring the best of singers, musicians and other
talented groups and individuals. Showcase Orangeburg will be held on Thursday, May 3 at 7:30
p.m. at Stevenson Auditorium, 979 Middleton Street. Tickets are available at the Orangeburg
County Fine Arts Center and the cost for Members is $10 and Non‐Members are $12. Boxes are
available for $40 and $60. A variety of very talented entertainers will be performing in
Showcase Orangeburg 2013. Each year brings back old favorites as well as new performers.
